BetTip Android privacy policy

This policy covers the BetTip: Draw Results & Numbers Android app, published by Zaiq. For support or privacy requests, email [email protected].

Using the app

No account is required. BetTip provides dated draw results, historical statistics, traditional number guides and saved-number comparisons. It does not ask for your contacts or precise location.

Information stored on your phone

Your saved number sets, followed games, appearance and alert preferences stay on your device. Results and a limited inbox of recent draw notifications are cached for offline reading. Saved numbers are not uploaded. Delete individual sets in Saved, or clear Android app storage or uninstall to remove local app data. Android cloud backup is disabled; this version has no account synchronisation.

Results and connection data

Updates use HTTPS connections to bettip.co.za. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses, request metadata and security information to deliver and protect the service. Provider logs may be retained for operational, security or legal purposes under Cloudflare’s privacy policy; we do not promise that all connection data is erased immediately. The app does not send saved number sets with these requests.

Optional notifications

If you enable draw alerts, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging processes an installation identifier, messaging token, selected game subscriptions, app version and technical device/SDK metadata to provide notifications and maintain the service. Our sender stores published results and delivery-job records, not a database of your saved numbers or device tokens. We do not enable Google Analytics or Firebase delivery export to BigQuery in this app.

Turn alerts off in each game’s controls; Android settings can stop notification display immediately. Quiet hours are applied on your phone. Turning display off is not an immediate deletion of Firebase installation data. Google describes its retention and deletion practices in Firebase privacy information. Contact us for help with a privacy request; do not send passwords or sensitive documents.

Advertising and website links

This release does not serve advertising. If advertising is enabled in a future release, we will update the policy and applicable privacy choices before that release.

Website buttons open your external browser. Fixed campaign parameters identify the Android app as the source, without your saved numbers or a per-installation identifier. Website cookies and services have their own privacy practices.

Support, sharing and retention

If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you include, and use it to respond and resolve the request. Mail is forwarded through Cloudflare to a Google-hosted mailbox. We retain support correspondence as needed to handle the request, follow-up and applicable legal obligations. You can request access, correction or deletion by emailing [email protected]; some records may need to be retained for legal or security reasons.

Service providers process data for hosting, email and notifications, potentially outside South Africa. We do not sell your saved numbers or personal information. Information may be disclosed when required by law or to protect the service and its users.

Audience and changes

BetTip is intended for adults aged 18 and over. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact us. We will update this page when practices change and display the revised effective date.
